Substance Use Counseling

Recovery is personal. Your support should be too

Substance use can affect health, relationships, work, family life, and emotional well-being. HWC provides a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where individuals can better understand substance use, identify patterns and triggers, strengthen recovery skills, and work toward meaningful change.

Current services may include individual and group substance use counseling based on clinical needs and treatment recommendations.

Understanding substance-use patterns and triggers

Developing healthier coping strategies

Strengthening motivation for change

Relapse-prevention planning

Building healthier routines

Improving decision-making and problem-solving

Strengthening personal and community supports

Addressing mental health concerns that may affect recovery

Treatment that Looks at the Whole Person

Substance use rarely happens in isolation. When appropriate, our team considers mental health, family, social, environmental, and other factors that may affect recovery.
